How to paraphrase a YouTube video?

To access the Text Paraphraser tool, move your cursor to the top of the page and place it over the Tools section. Once the menu expands, you can access it.

  • Important Note: The video paraphraser is only available for users with a paid subscription; currently, we do not offer free trials.

When you are in the Text Paraphraser section, you will see two boxes. The first box, located on the left, contains a video icon at the top. Here, you should paste the YouTube video link whose text you want to paraphrase. Remember, for the platform to process it correctly, the video needs to have subtitles and a duration between 1 minute and 4 hours. It may take a few seconds for the platform to extract the text from the video, so please be patient.

In the same box, but at the bottom, there is a bar chart icon displaying the number of words and characters in the video's text. Next to it, you will find buttons to copy and delete the text. There is also a dropdown menu to select the language in which you want the final paraphrase.

Once the tool has processed the video's text, click the button that says Paraphrase. In the box on the right, you will see the paraphrase generated by Parafrasist. You can modify the text by highlighting it with your cursor, which will display a bar at the top allowing you to change the font size, color, position, etc.

Below the white box, you will find a button to download the text in Word or PDF format. Additionally, you will see the bar chart icon to view the number of words and characters in your paraphrased text, as well as buttons to copy and activate text-to-speech.
