Welcome to Parafrasist. These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Parafrasist platform. By accessing or using Parafrasist services, you agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please refrain from using the platform.

Who We Are

Parafrasist is an online platform that offers a variety of AI-based tools, including but not limited to: text summarizer, paraphraser, essay generator, quiz creator, spell checker, video summarizer, document manager, and task manager.

Services Offered

  1. Summarizer

    • Free: Up to 5 daily text summaries of up to 5000 characters.

    • Paid: Unlimited text summaries of up to 400,000 characters, including text from YouTube video subtitles, PDF files, and images.

    • Note: The YouTube video summarizer only works with videos that have subtitles.

  2. Text Paraphraser

    • Free: Up to 5 texts daily of 2000 characters.

    • Paid: Unlimited paraphrases with advanced results, including texts from images, YouTube videos with subtitles, and PDF files.

    • Note: The YouTube video paraphraser only works with videos that have subtitles.

  3. Essay Creator

    • Free: Up to 2 incomplete essay trials.

    • Paid: Full essays of up to 8 pages with customizable settings like table of contents, references, and keywords.

  4. Quiz Creator

    • Free: 5-question quizzes.

    • Paid: Quizzes with up to 20 questions, including open-ended questions and individual generation using AI.

  5. Spell Checker

    • Free: Up to 5000 characters.

    • Paid: Up to 200,000 characters.

  6. Document Manager: Allows you to store documents created on the platform.

  7. Task Manager: Offers a Kanban-style board to organize pending tasks.

  8. Groups and Subjects: Facilitates the organization of resources, tasks, and documents.

Use of AI Technology

Parafrasist utilizes AI technologies to enhance several of its tools. While these technologies are innovative and highly useful, it is important to note that:

  • AI may make mistakes or generate unexpected results.

  • Users are responsible for reviewing and validating the results provided by the platform before using them.

  • Parafrasist is not responsible for decisions made solely based on the results generated by its tools.

User Responsibilities

By using Parafrasist, you agree to:

  • Provide truthful information when registering.

  • Not use the services in a way that infringes intellectual property rights, including unauthorized use of copyrighted texts or content.

  • Use the services exclusively for legal and ethical purposes.

Usage Limitations

  • Any tool that works with YouTube videos only works with videos that have subtitles.

  • Free services are subject to character limits and daily usage restrictions.

  • Unlimited access to tools requires subscribing to a paid plan.

Limitation of Liability

Parafrasist does not guarantee that the services will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not liable for direct, indirect, or consequential damages arising from the use of the platform. The results provided by the tools are suggestions and should be reviewed before use.

Refund Policy

Parafrasist offers a refund policy under the following conditions:

  • Refunds will be processed only if a request is made within 7 days of purchasing the plan.

  • To request a refund, the user must contact the support team via email at support@parafrasist.com, providing the payment receipt and an explanation for the request.

  • Refunds will be processed within 5 to 10 business days after approval of the request.

  • Refunds will not be granted in cases of violation of the terms of use or misuse of the platform.

Privacy and Data Protection

The use of Parafrasist is subject to our Privacy Policy, which regulates the handling of personal information provided by users. By using the platform, you agree to the processing of your data in accordance with this policy.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, and technology used in Parafrasist are owned by Parafrasist or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Changes to the Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Modifications will be notified through the platform and will take effect 30 days after publication. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms will be governed by the laws of Hidalgo, Mexico, and any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Pachuca de Soto, Hidalgo, Mexico.
