How to summarize a text?

We recommend that you access the Summarizer found on the internal page, as it will make its use easier and you will discover functions that are not available on the main page. To access it, log in if you have an account, and if you don’t, go to Sign Up or check out the article How Do I Create an Account?

  • Important note: The text summarizer is fully available for users without registration, with a free account, or a paid subscription. For free accounts and unregistered users, there is a limit of 5,000 characters per summary and 5 summaries per day.

Access the summarizer by clicking on the "Go to Tools" button located at the top right of your screen.

Once you click the button, a window will open where you will find the tools under the heading "What would you like to do?" Select "Summarize."

To summarize a text, click on the text icon. A box will immediately appear where you should paste your text. Remember that our summarizer requires a properly structured text with a minimum of 50 characters for optimal results. Otherwise, you will receive an "Error" message.

At the top of the box, you'll find a sliding bar to configure the size of the summary you want. In the bottom left, there will be a dropdown button to select the language in which you want the summary. Once you’ve completed these steps, click on summarize.

In a few seconds, you’ll be redirected to where the summary is being generated according to the chosen size. When it's finished, you’ll see not only the synthesized version of the text, but also the original text for comparison and its key points. You can modify the text by underlining it with your cursor, then a toolbar will appear at the top where you can change the font size, color, position, etc. At the top, you’ll find buttons allowing you to copy or download your summary in Word and PDF formats.
